Things to know about us

At Dundee Removal Services we have a specialist team dedicated to international removals' customers. Our International Moving division ‘Britannia KnightPacking’ are experienced in moving people to all corners of the globe. We give our clients a full report on how their goods will be transferred, a completed inventory for you to keep and check upon arrival. A full export wrapping and packing service is also provided by our expert packers who have over 30 years' experience.

You can send your goods to your destination with a range of options which can be tailored to suit your individual requirements:

Sole Use Container (FCL): We collect your goods, fully export wrap and pack them, load up a 'Full Container Load' containing your goods only, seal the container and send it on its way. Once your goods arrive at the destination point they are either transported directly to your new home in the container by our destination agents, or transferred into a vehicle which will then travel to the destination point.

Part Use Container (LCL): We can send certain consignments as 'Less than Container Load' meaning we collect them, export wrap and pack them, build a plywood crate to house your goods only and send this to be loaded onto a larger shipping container for onward travel to your destination. Destination services as per FCL.

Part Use Container (Groupage): Similar to LCL but groupage does not require a crate to be made making it more cost-effective. All items are export wrapped and packed and is given a unique barcode label that matches your inventory.

Airfreight: Items needing to reach your destination quickly can be sent by airfreight which involves export wrapping and packing and loading into an 'air pack' which is the equivalent of an LCL crate but normally made of lighter cardboard as airfreight is charged on weight as well as volume.
